Membership Information

Midnight Howl KC is happy to welcome you as a Full/Associate member.  Please ensure you read through this document carefully and have a clear understanding of the expectations of the Full/Associate membership. If you have any questions about this document or expectations, please reach out to Midnight Howl KC Leadership with any questions.  

 

Membership Standards and Conduct

We hold all our members to a high standard as they are our representatives out in the community.  Below you will find a list of the requirements and behaviors that are required to be followed as a Full/Associate member: 

• Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of signing this document. 

• Must not have criminal charges of sexual assault, violence, or aggression.

• Must conduct oneself in a dignified manner. Avoiding frivolous arguments, setting aside personal disagreements, and refraining from vitriol of others.

• Must not attempt to utilize the Midnight Howl KC Name or Logo without expressed, written consent from the entirety of Midnight Howl KC Leadership.

• Must not attempt to speak on public forums, television or radio programs, publications, or recordings on behalf of Midnight Howl KC or Midnight Howl KC Leadership without written consent from the entirety of Midnight Howl KC Leadership. 

 

The cost of each membership level is as follows: 

• Full Membership: $100.00 Per Year 

• Associate Membership: $50.00 Per Year 

Pro-rating membership for those joining outside of the annual renewal cycle are possible. Renewal of memberships will need to be paid in full no later than August 31st of each calendar year. 

 

Rights Reserved by Midnight Howl KC

Midnight Howl KC Leadership reserves rights to specific materials, logos, materials, and items provided to our Full/Associate members. A comprehensive list of those rights can be found below: 

• Midnight Howl KC Leadership reserves the right to cancel your membership at their discretion. While a reasoning for the cancellation of your membership may be provided, a reason for such cancellation is not required. If your membership is cancelled for violation of our code of conduct/expectations of our Full/Associate members, no refund will be provided. Additionally, if a member decides to cancel their membership a refund will not be provided. If extenuating circumstances exist, they will be reviewed and determined on a case-by-case basis. A refund of membership dues is not guaranteed. 

• Midnight Howl KC Leadership owns specific membership items. Upon termination of membership, you will be required to return the following items to Midnight Howl KC Leadership: 
  8” Embroidered Patch; Full/Associate Member specific enamel pin; Membership Card; Large Custom Leather Patch (Midnight Howl Leadership will purchase this item back from you. Offer pending on condition of patch upon termination of membership.) 

• Midnight Howl KC Leadership retains all rights, usage, publication, print (digital or physical), of the “Midnight Howl KC” name, and any variation of the logo (Black circle, red canine with black feline cutout, blue circle with white lettering and crescent moons, interlapping white gradient and blue gradient crescent moons).  ​

• You understand the membership information, standards, requirements, and expectations.  

• You understand the pricing of membership. 

• You understand that your membership is subject to termination without explanation. 

• You understand that your membership fee is non-refundable. 

• You understand the rights reserved by Midnight Howl KC Leadership.  

• You understand which individuals consist of Midnight Howl KC Leadership. 

• You understand this document in its entirety.  

• You have had ample time to review and ask any questions regarding this document. ​
